Mix ground meat, bread crumbs, onion, egg, ½ cup SBR Original Barbecue Sauce, cheese and seasonings in large bowl or stand mixer with paddle attachment. Good recipe with a few changes.

Steps to make BBQ Meatloaf:
  1. Sauté onion, celery, carrot, and chili in a little olive oil until vegetables are tender. Remove from heat and cool.
  2. Combine ground meat with all ingredients except BBQ sauce
  3. Shape into loaf on a lightly oiled sheet pan, baste generously with your favorite BBQ sauce
  4. Preheat grill but leave 1 burner off for indirect grilling
  5. Slide meatloaf directly on grill, away from burner
  6. Cover grill and try to keep temp. at 350deg F
  7. Bake on grill for 3/4 to 1 hour, or until internal temp. registers 140deg.
  8. After removing from grill let it rest for 10min before slicing

I added green pepper to the onion/garlic saute. After wrapping with the bacon I made a topping mixture of BBQ sauce, ketchup, honey and Brown sugar. Spread remaining barbecue sauce over top of meat loaf. The meatloaf is tender and juicy, sliced thick, and it also makes a great leftover sandwich the next day. I recommend adding a little of the Bourbon BBQ glaze to the meatloaf right as it finishes baking, but also serve plenty on the side for people to drizzle on their slices.
